i moved on storied legs
through the trees at nightfall
invariably, softly
candelabras and sharpened golden things
i drank when drinks were served
and spoke as well as spoke to
i was unlucky in a jesters words

and could this breath serve as love letter?
could this skin recoil to become nevermore?
if this lack of self is penchant
what does the narrator wait for?

sensible, senile and bubbly
i lost my keys on the short walk home
cavernous and lonesome, ugly
file for the exits, theres nothing to see here

so steal for me the peaches
the embarrassment wrought on a single taste
excellence is a virtue these guts will never create
i just love the sickness in the waves

and can we cauterize the wound yet?
all this blood loss is ruining my good time
we glance at foreign beaches, the sunniest of daydreams
all the while shiver in winters smile

analytical and homely
guessing misperceptions moving in real time
visible and guarded, pigeon holed in
a deafening silence i can't see what i couldn't wait for
anymore, alone
this accidental invitation is written in blood from a waste of skin and
bones, unknown
i dont wanna eat i just wanna feel wanted
i dont wanna drink i just wanna feel any less small than this
i dont wanna be i just wanna feel lovely
i dont wanna breathe and thats where it ends
